IT ALL STARTED WHEN…
I needed a light weight saddle for a 3,000 mile ride from Mexico to Canada after my father passed away, and the need to get a years old idea out of my head for a saddle design….. With the belief that every moment is pregnant with the next moment in our life, and that we manifest the life we want by where we put our intent. I left my career as a winemaker, and I began to take intentional steps and measures down this path.

In 2017, Trent rode from Mexico to Canada on the Pacific Crest Trail with wild untouched mustangs he adopted and trained in honor of his father who passed away in 2014 from motor neurone disease called Ataxia. The main goal of the ride was to raise money for the Ataxia Foundation. For this ride he built his first saddle, and since then has turned a small saddle & leather shop in his spare bedroom, to a full time saddle making business that donates 3% of all sales to the National Ataxia Foundation in, Gary Petersons name (his Father).

The saying goes, “don’t get caught with your pants down”…
I took that literally and have launched a belt that should help prevent that. You never know what can happen and when it will happen, but you can be prepared for it. By wearing a belt that can not only hold you pants up, but become a set of hobbles for that one time you wish you had an extra hand but no tree to tie to. Or you just need to put the brakes on something real quick.
Built with a knife sheath to fit a smaller Swiss army knife or your favorite pocket knife.
Belts are sold by the belt size not your pants size. Don’t know you belt size? measure your old or favorite belt from the end of the belt turn to the hole you use the most. And thats your belt size!
The belt size listed on these belts indicates where the center hole is. There are 4 holes 1 inch apart on either side of that center hole if the exact size isn’t in stock.
You can have your own Sunbody palm leaf hat shaped with The Wild In Us (TWIU) signature rain drop crown. Ive been shaping my Sunbody hats with a double crown like this, and it has quickly become the signature palm hat of TWIU.
The back story is that growing up on the ocean, and then later in life finding my living on the eastern slop of the Eastern Sierra, I found myself missing the ocean I grew up calling home as a kid. I shaped my first hat like this years back one day when I was missing the ocean as it reminded me of a rain drop on the water. Growing up in the PNW we refer to the rain as liquid sunshine, as without it we would have such a lush and green environment. Now you can have your own, shaped by me personally.
The hat is available in all sizes and comes with a 4” brim. ( shorter brim sizes are available upon special request, but a 4” comes standard)

Made from Wicket & Creig harness leather, this bridal features two adjustable buckle points to fit most any horse or mule. With the added feature of having a buckle where the bit attaches so you can quickly change your bit out with out undoing a Chicago screw or a blood knot. plus sizes and mini sizes are available upon request
Pulling breast collars are best for a trail rider and packers alike. The V shape to this breast collar allows for full shoulder movement, as well as letting the horse or mule drop its head to eat and drink without interfering with its neck.
