5 in 1 Backcountry Farrier Tool

The 5 in 1 backcountry farrier tool is designed so that all you’ll need to take with you on a back country pack trip is a rasp to level the foot.

With a little pre-planning and pre-shaping of your shoes at home before you leave the yard for those long multi day trips, this tool will allow you to tack on a shoe on the trail that might have come lose or fallen off, or put a new one on in camp without having to bring your full kit with you. Cutting down on weight and things to bring, the versatility of this tool will allow you to stay longer and keep your horses in good shape and healthy until you get home.

The tool includes a hammer, clincher, nail cutters, creased nail puller, hammer claw and a hoof pick. Its overall length is 10” so it’ll fit in a cantle bag or even in a sheath on your saddle.
