I make my cantle bags out of soft buffalo leather that during the tanning process, oils and tallow are added to the leather to give it a natural water repellency. The zipper is a 12” heavy duty zipper for easy access for extra gloves or your rain slicker or just that Packer/Plowmans lunch when you need it.
