Made from Wicket & Craig show harness leather. Britchen features a double rolled edge using soft Latigo hide to help prevent rubbing and marking your mule or horse on those long distance/multi day trips into the back country.
I build my Britchens with safety in mind first and foremost, as well as trying to achieve something beautiful. I designed this Britchen to have an inherent weak point when things go really really bad out there, which they do. First rule of packing is, plan for the worst and hope for the best. I’d rather see my hanger keeper break then my strap or Britchen it’s self.
Single strap spiders are available on request for this saddles that only have a crupper ring, but double is standard and is what will be shipped out unless specified.
